Solar questions
Yes. Solar systems attract small-scale technology certificates (STCs), which come off your upfront price — but only when the system is designed and installed by an SAA accredited installer, which MBR is. Home batteries can also qualify for the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program. The amount depends on your system size and the date it’s installed — we’ll work out exactly what you’re eligible for in your quote.
Yes. MBR Electrical’s installers are accredited with Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), the national accreditation for solar and battery installers. Accredited installation is required for your system to qualify for government rebates and incentives.
Not always. If you’re home during the day, solar on its own can deliver strong savings. A battery makes sense if most of your power is used at night, you want backup during outages, or you want to use more of your own solar. We’ll show you the numbers both ways.
Most home systems are installed in a day. Larger homes, batteries and commercial systems take longer — we’ll give you a clear timeframe in your quote.
