MBR Electrical was engaged by MidCoast Council to deliver a comprehensive solar and battery solution at the Taree Waste Facility. This major infrastructure upgrade included the supply and installation of a commercial-scale solar PV system, integrated with advanced energy storage and a tailored inverter solution.  

In line with the project specification, our team also carried out AC relocation works and site generator disconnection to ensure seamless integration with the facility’s electrical systems. 

A custom-built battery enclosure was installed, complete with ventilation and access control, supporting long-term performance and safety. Throughout the project, MBR Electrical managed every element with precision – from structural compliance to energy efficiency – delivering a high-performing system that supports the council’s sustainability goals and enhances energy resilience at one of its key regional facilities.
