From 1 October 2026 the federal Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme covers systems up to 1MW. Industry estimates put the upfront saving at around 20% – roughly $68,000 on a 250kW system. The exact value depends on certificate prices at the time of install, and we show it in your quote.
It depends on how much power you use and when. We size systems from 12 months of interval data (available free from your retailer) so the system matches your daytime load rather than guessing from a single bill.
Larger systems need approval from Essential Energy before installation. Allow several weeks for bigger connections – we prepare and lodge the application for you.
