TAFE NSW TAREE – BLOCKS J & K

About the project

MBR Electrical and MBR Air Conditioning delivered both the electrical and mechanical packages for the Block J and Block K refurbishment at TAFE NSW Taree, working with Edge Construction. The blocks house the campus’s hairdressing and beauty training rooms.

Because hair and beauty treatments produce chemical fumes, the mechanical design held the training rooms at a negative pressure of around -5 Pa to keep those fumes contained — using a mix of air conditioning, heat exchangers and exhaust fans balanced to work together.
