About the project

MBR Electrical delivered the electrical packages for the Mid North Coast Local Health District’s cancer services upgrades across three hospitals — Macksville District Hospital, Port Macquarie Base Hospital and Kempsey District Hospital — working with Everytrade.

At Macksville, the works included a new CT room, with mains and control supply to the CT scanner and full cabling to the CT control room.

Every site was a live, operating hospital. Shutdowns were planned and completed out of hours so patient care was never disrupted, and clinical areas were delivered as body-protected electrical areas and certified to AS/NZS 3003.
