PORT MACQUARIE KOALA HOSPITAL

About the project

MBR Electrical delivered the full electrical package for the redevelopment of the world-famous Port Macquarie Koala Hospital, working with AW Edwards.

The new facility includes veterinary treatment spaces with body-protected electrical areas — built to the same standard as a human clinical space — along with a public boardwalk and lighting through the koala holding yards.

With Port Macquarie’s long history in koala care and conservation, this was a proud one for our local team to be part of.

Our scope

• Full electrical package
• Body-protected electrical areas for veterinary treatment spaces
• Boardwalk lighting
• Lighting through koala holding yards
